What customers say?

“ Outstanding Pho Ga!!! Not as many condiments in the soup but I’ll tell you the broth is outstanding ! And the chicken is fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! ”

“ A small restaurant able to seat about 15 people with a bright, beautiful, minimalist styling. While the name of the restaurant suggests that it is a Vietnamese restaurant (it primarily is), the menu with about a dozen items includes dishes from Thailand as well (Khao Soi). When I go, I always end up ordering my favorite items...Chicken Pho, spring rolls and home made ginger ale...a truly delicious combination, in my humble opinion. The restaurant is so good...that during the prime lunch hour there is guaranteed to be a line outside waiting to get in. The good news is, the waiting area tends to be pleasant and sunny...with even a couple of chairs on a small lawn. The 10min wait can be very pleasant if you are prepared. Highly recommended! ”

“ I took Chicken pho and it tastes amazing. The chicken is so soft and the soup is good too. Will try another menu again next time. ”

“ Popular place so will likely queue, decent pho but could use more flavor for the broth. Had the chicken pho for 1,200yen, nice ambiance. ”

“ At what point do you become a regular? I think we qualify. Pho Rascal is really good. The picture is proof. ”

- Torrey Martin -

“ This place was introduced by a friend and every time I come to kamakura I visit here. I always try to get the seasonal pho which features different spices and vegetables. Pricing is really great and everything is delicious. You can’t go wrong order anything off the menu. It is a small restaurant, so there is going to be a line. Also, this place closes at 5 PM so they aren’t available for dinner. ”

“ Love their soups and go there for lunch every week. Sometimes I think I could eat that kind of food every day, delicious. As others have noted, you may need to wait quite a while to get in (the place is rather small and really good, which means popular), so it's worth to have other options. However I've never felt the service is slow once you're seated. Speaking of prices, it really depends on what you compare to. By Tokyo lunch standards it's maybe rather pricy, but ¥1100 (the most expensive option on the menu) for a good lunch in Kamakura cannot be called expensive! ”
